It’s time for Dunedin Mardi Gras 2014! We’re putting together a community steelband for this year’s parade on Tuesday, March 4th in downtown Dunedin. We’ve secured a truck (thanks Jimmie’s Towing), and we plan to add some more live music to Mardi Gras.
Steel pan players and percussionists, please fill out the form below if you’d like to be a part of this year’s group. We’ll work up two simple songs with some percussion breaks. I’ll have sheet music and audio files posted soon, and we’ll schedule a couple of rehearsals shortly afterwards.
There will be food, drinks and fun! Space may be limited, so contact us right away if you’re interested!
